Who can take part

  • Child is 2 to 5 years old.
  • Child is male or female.
  • Child is healthy (ASA I or II) or has mild systemic disease.
  • Child is having planned surgery with general anesthesia and a breathing tube.
  • No recent face or jaw injury.
  • No large growth or scar under the chin.
  • No prior neck surgery or birth defects of the head and neck.
