Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with low-risk MDS (very low, low, or intermediate risk).
  • You need regular red blood cell transfusions (at least 3 transfusions in 16 weeks).
  • You have tried or are not eligible for standard treatments like erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESA drugs), luspatercept, or lenalidomide.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have adequate kidney and liver function, and no major heart problems.
  • You have not had any active cancer (other than some skin cancers) in the last year.
  • If you could become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control and have regular pregnancy tests.
