Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lung) confirmed by a special CT scan.
- Your condition must be very serious, such as having a cardiac arrest or being in shock with low blood pressure despite fluids.
- Your heart's right side must show signs of strain on an ultrasound or CT scan.
- You must not have any condition that makes catheter treatment unsafe, like active bleeding or recent surgery or stroke.
