Who can take part
- You must be enrolled in the myeloMATCH master study and have an IDH2 mutation in your leukemia cells.
- You must have newly diagnosed AML that hasn't been treated yet, except for certain medications like hydroxyurea or low-dose cytarabine.
- You must be 60 or older, or at least 18 but not able to receive high-dose cytarabine chemotherapy.
- You must be able to swallow pills and have no stomach issues that affect absorption.
- You must have good liver and kidney function, and a normal heart rhythm on an EKG.
- You must not be pregnant and agree to use effective birth control if needed.
