Who can take part

  • You must have multiple myeloma and be scheduled for a stem cell transplant within 12 months of diagnosis.
  • You must be at least 60 years old.
  • You must have enough stem cells collected for the transplant.
  • You must have good organ function, including heart, lung, and kidney tests within normal limits.
  • You cannot have had prior treatment with drugs targeting IL-6 or its receptor.
