Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 79 years old.
  • You had a robotic radical prostatectomy (surgery to remove the prostate using a robot).
  • Your overall health is classified as ASA 1, 2, or 3 (relatively healthy to stable chronic disease).
  • You are not allergic to local anesthetics (numbing medications).
  • Your platelet count is 100,000 or higher and your INR (blood clotting test) is 2 or lower.
