Adding Emdogain to deep cleaning for gum disease

This trial tests whether adding a treatment called Emdogain to a standard deep cleaning helps heal gum pockets better than deep cleaning alone. Emdogain is a gel that helps gums and bone regrow, and it is applied during the cleaning.

Gum tissue repair for molar furcation defects

This trial tests whether a special enamel protein combined with bone graft material can help repair gum and bone damage around the roots of back teeth (molars). It may improve the health of the area and reduce the need for more serious treatments.

Comparing hyaluronic acid to enamel matrix for gum regrowth

This trial tests whether a gel made from hyaluronic acid helps rebuild bone and gum tissue around teeth as well as a standard treatment (enamel matrix derivative). It's for people with advanced gum disease who have completed initial cleaning and still have deep pockets that need repair.

New gum treatments for deep periodontal pockets

This study compares two different gel treatments to help heal deep gum infections (periodontal disease). Researchers will test whether a newer treatment with polynucleotides and hyaluronic acid works as well as or better than an established protein-based treatment for rebuilding damaged gum tissues.

NCT06530199Not yet recruiting
New gum surgery for deep pockets with bone loss

This study tests a new way of repairing deep gum pockets around teeth that have lost bone on one or two sides. It compares the simplified papilla preservation flap technique with or without a small piece of connective tissue, both using a special enamel protein gel to help regrow bone and gum attachment.

Gum bone regeneration with hyaluronic acid vs enamel matrix
