- You are between 18 and 90 years old.
- You have heart failure symptoms (like shortness of breath) even with medication, and your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is below 35%.
- Your EKG shows a specific type of heart block called 'complete left bundle branch block' (LBBB).
- The wall between the two lower heart chambers (septum) is thicker than 8 mm on an ultrasound.
- You do not already have a pacemaker or ICD, and you do not have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
