Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have heart failure with symptoms, even after taking recommended medications.
  • Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is 40% or less.
  • Your heart's electrical signal is very wide (QRS duration 150 ms or more) with a specific pattern.
  • You are scheduled to receive a cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) device.
  • You can provide written consent and are expected to live more than 2 years.
