Testing mirdametinib and vorinostat for NF1-related MPNST

Primary Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumors

Who can take part

  • You must be 12 years old or older.
  • You must have a diagnosis of neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1).
  • You must have a tumor that is suspected to be a malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (MPNST).
  • The tumor must test negative for a specific protein marker (H3K27 trimethylation).
  • You must be able to swallow capsules.
  • If you are of childbearing age, you must agree to use effective birth control during and for a few months after treatment.
