Who can take part

  • You have a high-grade glioma (aggressive brain or spinal cord tumor) that has been confirmed by pathology testing and genetic analysis
  • You meet age and health requirements: at least 12–18 years old (depending on tumor type) and able to perform daily activities at a reasonable level
  • Your blood counts, kidney function, and liver function are adequate; your blood pressure is controlled
  • You have waited the required time since your last cancer treatment (typically 2–24 weeks, depending on the type of treatment)
  • You have tumor tissue available for testing, and you have recovered from side effects of prior treatments to mild levels or less
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, have no uncontrolled heart or eye conditions, and can use effective birth control during and 6 weeks after the trial
