Who can take part

  • You are 14 to 80 years old.
  • You have been clearly diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis, including knowing which antibody is causing it.
  • Your diagnosis happened within the last 3 months.
  • You have had a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) to check the fluid around your brain and spine for antibodies.
  • You have already received immunotherapy (like steroids) for your condition.
  • Before you got sick, you were mostly independent in daily activities – not needing significant help to walk or care for yourself.
