Who can take part
- You have Wilson disease with very severe liver failure (New Wilson Index of 11 or higher and INR of 2.5 or higher).
- You are between 3 and 18 years old.
- You do not have severe confusion or coma from liver problems (hepatic encephalopathy grade 3 or 4).
- You do not have septic shock or a bleeding disorder (disseminated intravascular coagulation).
- You do not have unstable blood pressure needing very strong medications or serious heart/lung disease.
