Who can take part
- Your eye injury was caused by acid or alkali chemicals like bleach or battery fluid.
- The damaged area on your cornea is large (over half the limbus) and the scar is not too deep (less than 250 μm).
- Only one eye is affected, and your other eye has normal stem cell function.
- Your eye symptoms have not improved with medication or surgery and have been stable for at least 3 months.
- You do not have certain other eye diseases, severe dry eye, or infections.
