  • You are between 18 and 44 years old.
  • You have a BMI over 25 (considered overweight or obese).
  • You have been newly diagnosed with depression (mild to severe).
  • You do not have diabetes, and your blood sugar is in the normal range.
  • You have not taken any psychiatric medication in the last 6 months.
