Who can take part

  • Your intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH) level must be above 800 pg/mL
  • You have not responded well to medications like calcimimetics or vitamin D
  • You have symptoms like severe bone pain, muscle pain, or calcium deposits in soft tissues
  • An imaging test (ultrasound or similar) shows at least one enlarged parathyroid gland
  • You do not have serious bleeding problems, severe heart or lung issues, or unstable vital signs
