Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (TLE)

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have drug-resistant mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (meaning seizures that start in a specific area of the brain and don't respond to medication).
  • You have at least one seizure per month.
  • You have not had brain surgery before.
  • You do not have any other growths or lesions in your brain (like tumors or cysts).
  • You do not have serious health problems that would make surgery risky (like severe heart disease, lung problems, or an uncontrolled infection).
