Who can take part
- Age 18–75 years old
- Diagnosed with unilateral mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (seizures starting from one side of the inner temporal lobe) that has lasted at least 2 years
- Seizures are drug-resistant, meaning at least 2 standard anti-seizure medications haven't worked well enough
- You have at least 4 seizures per month on average over the last 3 months
- On a stable dose of anti-seizure medications for at least 1 month before starting the trial
- Blood work shows healthy liver, kidney, and immune cell counts; women must test negative for pregnancy and agree to contraception for 2 years after transplant
