Who can take part

  • You have a non-ischemic heart disease that affects the left ventricle, such as dilated cardiomyopathy, non-dilated left ventricular cardiomyopathy, or heart muscle inflammation after a viral infection.
  • You have had at least one heart MRI with contrast (called LGE-CMR) in the past.
  • You did not have a dangerous heart rhythm event at the time of your first heart MRI.
  • Your life expectancy is more than 1 year and you feel generally well (NYHA class better than IV).
  • You are not pregnant and do not have other structural heart conditions like blockages in the arteries or congenital heart defects.
