Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have arm or hand spasticity from a stroke, brain injury, or spinal cord injury that started at least 6 months ago.
- You are currently getting Botox injections in your arm or hand, and it's been at least 3 months since your last injection.
- You are planning to treat at least two muscles in your hand and wrist.
- If you choose the Botox group, you have a community therapist assigned to help after the injection. If you choose the surgery group, you are healthy enough for surgery.
- You do not have other severe arm or hand injuries that limit your function.
