  • You have esophageal cancer that has not spread to other organs.
  • You are scheduled for a type of keyhole surgery (called minimally invasive esophagectomy) to remove part of your esophagus.
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You are able to give your informed consent to take part in the study.
  • You are not pregnant.
