Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are scheduled for a first-time knee replacement on one knee only, using robotic surgery.
  • You can speak and understand Cantonese, Mandarin, or English.
  • You do not have severe heart, kidney, or liver problems, or a bleeding disorder.
  • You are not allergic to the pain medicines used in the study (opioids, local anesthetics, paracetamol, or NSAIDs).
