Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have moderate to severe ARDS and are on a breathing machine.
  • You do not have severe asthma, COPD, lung tumor, or prior lung surgery/transplant.
  • You are not on high doses of blood pressure medications.
  • Your lung condition is not mainly caused by heart failure.
