Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (a condition causing muscle stiffness and weakness in the legs).
  • You have trouble walking because of leg weakness, stiffness, or balance problems.
  • You can walk without needing to hold onto another person (using a cane or walker is fine).
  • You can understand simple instructions and agree to attend at least 10 therapy sessions.
  • You have not had Botox or surgery on your legs in the last 6 months.
  • Your doctor has said it is safe for you to do moderate exercise (stretching, strength training, cardio).
