Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and can agree to take part.
  • You have severe aortic valve narrowing (stenosis) that causes symptoms and needs a TAVI procedure.
  • You are getting a balloon-expandable type of replacement valve.
  • You sign a consent form to join the study.
  • You do not need the procedure done as an emergency or for urgent reasons.
  • You are not currently in unstable condition (for example, very low blood pressure or shock).
  • You have not had a tissue (bioprosthetic) aortic valve put in before.
  • You can follow the study plan and complete all required visits.
