Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a recent heart attack or chronic heart disease (not an active heart attack in the last 24 hours)
- Your heart's pumping strength is reduced (ejection fraction ≤40%)
- You have specific patterns of blocked arteries in your heart that make the procedure risky
- You are not pregnant and do not have an active infection
- Your heart enzymes have returned to normal levels (if you had a recent heart attack)
