Who can take part

  • You have rectal cancer that has not spread to other parts of the body
  • Your tumor is within 10 cm of the anal opening
  • Your MRI shows at least one high-risk feature, like a tumor deeper than T2, blood vessel involvement, or suspicious lymph nodes
  • You have good organ function (kidneys, liver, etc.) as determined by standard tests
  • Your cancer is not MSI-H or dMMR (a specific genetic feature that usually responds well to immunotherapy alone)
  • You have not had pelvic radiation or immunotherapy before
