Who can take part

  • You are aged 18 to 75.
  • You have a type of rectal cancer called adenocarcinoma that is pMMR or MSS (certain genetic types).
  • Your tumor is in the middle or lower part of the rectum, within 10 cm from the anal opening, and not too large or spread to nearby tissues.
  • You have not had radiation or immunotherapy before.
  • You do not have serious immune system, endocrine, heart, lung, liver, or kidney conditions, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
