Who can take part

  • You are 20 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes by a doctor.
  • You have a BMI over 24 or a waist larger than 35 inches (women) or 40 inches (men).
  • You have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, with a sleep test showing more than 5 breathing pauses per hour.
  • You are willing to use a smartphone or tablet app for 6 months.
  • You do not have serious conditions like cancer, kidney failure, or severe depression.
