Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 8 and 18 years old.
  • Your child must be overweight (BMI above the 85th percentile for their age and sex).
  • Your child must have a liver scan result (CAP) greater than 236, which indicates too much fat in the liver.
  • Your child must not have other liver diseases like hepatitis B or C, autoimmune hepatitis, or Wilson disease.
