Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 35, and you weigh at least 110 pounds (women) or 110 pounds (men).
- You have been diagnosed with mild or moderate high blood pressure.
- Your average blood pressure reading (sitting, taken three times) is between 140/90 and 179/109 while not on medication, or between 140/90 and 179/109 after switching to a low dose of one of the study drugs.
- You are able to take study pills correctly 80% to 120% of the time during a short run-in period.
