Who can take part

  • You are 65 years or older.
  • You feel unsteady or have trouble standing or walking.
  • You have some reduced feeling in your feet—you can feel a thick thread (like a paperclip) but not a very thin one (like a hair).
  • You can stand or walk for at least one minute with or without a cane or walker.
  • You do not have a history of foot sores, amputations, or severe foot pain.
  • You do not have uncontrolled diabetes or high blood pressure.
