Who can take part

  • You are a child or teenager between 3 and 19 years old.
  • You have nerve damage in your leg caused by an injection (usually in the buttock or thigh).
  • Your parent or guardian agrees to you joining the study, and you also agree if you are old enough to understand.
  • You do not need surgery for a completely severed nerve.
  • You do not have other nerve or muscle conditions (like muscular dystrophy or multiple sclerosis).
  • You are able to take part in physical therapy and do not have other serious health problems that would interfere.
