Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 39 years old (or 17 to 39 if you are in the military)
  • Your weight has been stable (within 11 pounds) for the past two months
  • You are generally healthy with no chronic illness or injury that limits exercise
  • You have been doing aerobic or functional exercise at least twice a week for the last 6 months
  • You are willing to avoid alcohol, nicotine, caffeine (except what the study provides), and supplements during the study
  • If you are a woman, you must be on a stable birth control pill or hormone IUD for more than 3 months
