Who can take part
- You have a well-differentiated grade 1 or grade 2 neuroendocrine tumor (GEP-NET) that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery, and was diagnosed within the last 6 months.
- Your tumor or its spread is considered 'high burden' by your doctor, for example: a tumor larger than 4 cm, multiple tumors over 2 cm, or symptoms like pain, weight loss, or fatigue.
- You are 12 years or older.
- Your tumor cells show enough of the SSTR receptor (like on a PET scan) – at least as much as normal liver cells.
- Your blood counts and kidney/liver function are within certain safe limits, and you are able to care for yourself (ECOG 0-1).
- You have not had prior radiation therapy or certain other treatments for this cancer (like chemotherapy or mTOR inhibitors), except for limited use of somatostatin analogs.
