Interferon-alpha after Chemo for Favorable-Risk AML

Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 70 years old.
  • You were just diagnosed with a favorable-risk type of AML (specific genetic forms that respond well to treatment).
  • You reached your first complete remission after 1-2 rounds of standard chemo.
  • You finished 4-6 cycles of consolidation chemo, including at least 2 high-dose cytarabine rounds.
  • After consolidation, your bone marrow is in remission, but a very small amount of leukemia-related genetic material (MRD) can still be found.
