  • Recently diagnosed with AML and completed 1–2 rounds of chemotherapy with good response (remission)
  • Age 18–70 years old
  • Currently in the maintenance therapy phase (ongoing treatment to keep cancer away)
  • Blood cell counts have returned to near-normal levels
  • Expected to survive at least 12 months after going into remission
  • Not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and no active HIV infection
