Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have newly diagnosed or untreated AML, or a related blood cancer (like high-risk CML in blast phase).
  • You have not yet reached remission after starting up to 2 rounds of initial therapy.
  • Your cancer has spread outside the bone marrow, as long as it can be measured.
  • You are not pregnant or nursing.
  • You have adequate kidney and liver function (your doctor can confirm this).
