Comparing two ways to give terlipressin for variceal bleeding in ACLF

Who can take part

  • You are an adult aged 18 or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with ACLF (a serious liver condition that develops quickly).
  • You currently have active bleeding from varices (enlarged veins) in your esophagus.
  • You do not have a history of heart disease, stroke, asthma, or seizures.
  • You are not pregnant and have not had a previous bleed come back.
  • You do not have liver cancer or a bleed from varices in your stomach.
