Who can take part
- You have been newly diagnosed with stage III or IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
- If you do not have brain metastases, you must have a known genetic mutation in your lung cancer.
- You are receiving radiation or drug treatment at Ohio State University.
- Your doctor expects you to live at least one year.
- You do not have conditions like Alzheimer's or dementia that would make participation difficult.
- You can have an MRI scan.
- You are not allergic to numbing medicines used for lumbar puncture.
- You have not had another cancer in the past (except for certain skin cancers).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to use birth control if needed.
