Who can take part

  • Be between 18 and 80 years old
  • Have been diagnosed with chronic heart failure for at least 1 month
  • Have heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (your heart still pumps blood well but doesn't relax fully)
  • Have a body mass index (BMI) of 28 or higher (considered obese)
  • Be able to walk between 100 and 425 meters in 6 minutes
  • Have a stable medication routine for at least 4 weeks before the trial starts
