- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have cataracts and are scheduled for cataract surgery at National Taiwan University Hospital.
- You do not have any health issue that would make surgery unsafe for you.
- You have not had bad reactions to the medicine XANAX before.
- You are not currently taking any anti-anxiety pills, sleeping pills, or painkillers regularly.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you are a woman under 55, you should not be pregnant or unsure about pregnancy.
