Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with lupus (SLE) and have had low platelets (under 50,000) on at least two blood tests, confirmed by a bone marrow exam.
- Your low platelets did not improve after at least 3 months of high-dose steroids and another immune-suppressing drug (like biologics).
- You can stop most immune-suppressing medications (except hydroxychloroquine) and take only a low dose of steroids during the study.
- You have adequate organ function (liver, kidneys, lungs, heart) and a lymphocyte count above 400 cells/mcL.
- You have not had CAR-T cell therapy before, and do not have severe active lupus affecting the brain, active infections, recent cancer, or other major health issues.
