Who can take part

  • You are 8 years old or older.
  • You have a condition (like cerebral palsy, stroke, spinal cord injury, spina bifida, or nerve injury) that makes walking difficult because of weak or stiff muscles in your legs.
  • You already use a custom ankle-foot brace (AFO) that helps you walk and you have used one before.
  • You can walk on your own, with or without a cane or walker.
  • You are able to fill out questionnaires with some help if needed.
  • Your brace is covered by the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) in Ontario.
