Who can take part
- You have a kidney stone or upper ureter stone smaller than 2 cm
- You have not had a ureteral stent (DJ stent) placed before
- You do not have a urinary tract infection
- You do not have ureter narrowing (stricture)
- You do not have kidney or liver problems, or certain heart or nerve conditions
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You do not have a bleeding disorder or active stomach ulcer
