Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a kidney stone blocking your ureter (the tube from kidney to bladder) in a single working kidney
- Imaging (ultrasound and CT scan) confirms the stone blockage
- Your kidney function is severely reduced with very high creatinine levels (over 2 mg/dL) and little to no urine output
- You can sign an informed consent form and understand the study
- You do not have a urinary tract infection, sepsis, or pregnancy
