Who can take part
- You are between 50 and 75 years old (for Alzheimer's) or 50 to 80 years old (for Parkinson's).
- You have mild cognitive impairment or dementia due to Alzheimer's (with a positive amyloid PET scan) OR a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease for more than 2 years.
- You are generally healthy enough for surgery and imaging tests (MRI, PET, and a dye test called ICG).
- You do not have serious heart, lung, kidney, or liver problems, active infections, bleeding disorders, or recent cancer.
- You are not currently using sleeping pills more than twice a week or enrolled in another drug trial.
