Who can take part
- Age 18 or older
- Had a mild stroke (NIH Stroke Scale score 5 or less) or a TIA with moderate to high risk (ABCD₂ score 4 or more)
- Started taking clopidogrel and aspirin within 48 hours of symptoms starting
- Had a blood test measuring platelet function 5-20 hours after taking those drugs
- No bleeding conditions or recent major bleeding
- Not taking other blood thinners or having conditions like atrial fibrillation that require them
