  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have high blood pressure (hypertension), either known or newly found in the ER.
  • You have never had an aortic aneurysm or aortic dissection.
  • You have never had surgery or a stent in your chest aorta.
  • You are not currently in cardiac arrest or being revived (CPR).
