Who can take part
- Adults 18 to 99 years old
- Have a cochlear implant that has been active for more than one year
- Lost most of your hearing after age 16
- No major medical conditions like seizures, head injury, or heart disease (unless approved by the study doctor)
- Not pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study
- Not taking certain medications that affect blood flow to the brain (like ginkgo biloba or acetazolamide)
